Finsbury Park N4

My clients initial concern for this kitchen renovation was how their guinea pig would cope with the upheaval!  After some reassurances, the guinea pig was sent on a lovely seaside sabbatical, and we went full steam ahead.  The original kitchen in this Victorian terrace was dark and dreary and in need of renovating.  The room was very cluttered with little worktop space and virtually no storage.  There was also a large chimney breast in the kitchen, and I kept everything crossed that they would agree to remove it as it would give huge scope to what could then be done there.  Thankfully, they trusted my recommendation and the chimney breast went.  This allowed for masses of storage in the room.  Even though the room is filled with cabinets in a very bold wood effect colour scheme with vibrant mix tiles on the floor and walls, the room is significantly lighter and seems so much bigger.  It makes you feel happy when you walk into it.  I know that my clients love it and I believe the guinea pig is happy too!
