My client, Paul Ashley of Yellow Door Property, asked me to design traditional kitchens for his two new-build properties in Lakenheath, Suffolk.
Designed for a family, we decided to go with a classic smooth painted in-frame scheme with minimal grooving in a delicate light grey shade. The worktop is Silestone Lyra quartz. My client chose a number of special units to incorporate into the two kitchens including a curved end unit on the peninsular that has four pull out chopping boards incorporated into it. Top of the range appliances from Siemens and Rangemaster, alongside those beautiful Perrin and Rowe taps and Shaws of Darwen Belfast sinks, make for two fabulous high specification kitchens.
I think the finished kitchens are beautiful and extremely practical. Every unit has a purpose and function, facilitating a vast amount of storage and worktop space. I hope his buyers enjoy their kitchens for many years to come.
We have worked with Elisa on the design of 5 kitchens for new houses that Yellow Door has recently built. Elisa not only showed a great understanding of the style we were looking for on each but also, through her detailed knowledge of the manufacturer we chose, she was able to offer practical advice as to what would actually work. I would have no hesitation in recommending her services to both end users and contractors. She is a pleasure to work with and we look forward to collaborating with her again.
