It was a great honour to be chosen by this lovely family to design and supply their kitchen and utility room.  These rooms formed part of a huge renovation and extension project that would completely transform their home.  As soon as I saw the ground floor extension plans, I knew that a double island would be the best way to use the space and my clients loved the idea straight away.  There aren’t too many opportunities where the space for such a layout works, and it was extremely exciting to be able to do that here.  My clients were very open to so many of my suggestions and had lots of great ideas of their own too.  It was a truly collaborative design process. They chose a classic smooth painted in-frame style of kitchen but incorporated some contemporary elements with the black handles and tap and a glass backsplash to match the island.  The quality Miele appliances and a gorgeous Carrara quartz worktop are a great addition to the new kitchen.  I love how my client selected blush accents in the bar stools and pendant lights to complement the scheme.  It was a wonderful project for me, and I couldn’t be happier to know how much pleasure my clients have already and will continue to experience in their finished home.
