Muswell Hill N10

This was a very special project. My client was undertaking a major and complex renovation project and I wanted to ensure that the kitchen would be as magnificent as the rest of the house. It’s a beautiful room with modern handleless Linear cabinetry painted in Farrow and Ball’s Shadow White. There were a number of interesting features in the final design. It was unusual to have an AGA feature in such a modern design but it works so well. As the AGA needed to sit precisely underneath the ceiling extractor, we made her pan drawers either side of the AGA in a custom width of 730mm to ensure this was the case. This client was also my first to have a set of 1400mm wide pan drawers which looked extremely smart. We also put in a handleless unit with a set of vegetable baskets – also unusual in a modern design. We also did a lot of research into appliances to ensure they fitted her brief exactly.
