Muswell Hill N10
I really enjoyed being part of this project. My clients asked me to create a kitchen and separate dining space with an interesting feature to bridge together the two rooms which we did by making a bookcase with recessed shelves. Their architect had designed a very creative space with round windows and some unusual ceiling fins to mirror an outdoor pagoda. The dining room cabinetry perfectly aligns with the ceiling fins and skylight. The kitchen, while galley in shape and style, has been designed to maximise the efficiency of the storage and work surface and still compliment the unique round windows. I like the use of the different shades of blue in both sections and the dividing bookcase painted in a funky yellow shade. The overall layout, flow and use of colours makes for a fresh, happy and relaxed space.
